Agadir-Al Massira airport is the natural gateway to south-west Morocco. That is where we hand over your car, prepared and checked, as soon as you arrive. You then drive on to Tiznit and the coast, and return the car to the agreed point during agency opening hours. The fleet belongs to our Casablanca agency in Maarif, which organises every handover.

Tiznit, the silver city

Encircled by its earthen ramparts, Tiznit is famous for its jewellers and silver souk, where traditional Amazigh jewellery is still crafted. The medina and the Mechouar square are made for wandering. Nearby, Aglou beach and the coastline towards Mirleft offer wild Atlantic scenery, popular with surfers and anyone who loves wide open spaces.

A coastal loop: Tiznit, Aglou, Mirleft and Legzira

Begin in Tiznit’s medina, ringed by ochre earthen ramparts, and its jewellers’ souk, known for engraved Berber silver: brooches, bracelets and necklaces worked by hand. Then head for the ocean and the beach at Aglou, long and unspoilt, popular with surfers.

Follow the coast south to Mirleft, with its coves and cliffs, and finish at Legzira beach, famous for its red rocks carved by the sea, ideally at sunset. For this loop as a couple, the Mercedes CLA 220 or the Range Rover Evoque are light and pleasant to drive.
