How it works for an El Jadida trip
Our whole fleet lives at the Maarif agency in Casablanca, where every car is cleaned, checked and handed over in person. For a stay in El Jadida, the easy option is to pick up your car in Casablanca, either in town or straight after landing at Mohammed V airport, and follow the Atlantic coast south. The car stays with you for the whole trip and comes back to the agreed point during agency opening hours.
Choosing the right car
A couple on a long weekend will be perfectly happy in the Mercedes CLA 220 or the compact Range Rover Evoque. Families and groups with luggage and beach gear will appreciate more room:
- Range Rover Sport, including the Autobiography
- Audi Q8
- Maserati Levante and Maserati Grecale
- Porsche Macan for keen drivers
Every model has an automatic gearbox, and the same cars can also be handed over at the airports of Casablanca, Rabat, Marrakech, Agadir, Fès, Tangier, Nador and Oujda.
What to see in El Jadida
The Portuguese City of Mazagan, a UNESCO World Heritage site, is best explored on foot: sea-facing ramparts, narrow lanes and the famous Portuguese Cistern, whose vaulted ceiling is mirrored in a thin sheet of water. The town’s long sandy beaches and the surrounding coastline make for relaxed drives by the ocean.
Rental terms
- Unlimited mileage, handy for exploring around El Jadida
- Minimum rental of 3 days
- Deposit from 30,000 MAD, or 50,000 MAD for the Range Rover Sport Autobiography
- Return during agency opening hours
Book by WhatsApp

A sample day between Mazagan, Azemmour and Sidi Bouzid
Start early at the Portuguese City of Mazagan, before the tour groups arrive: the cistern is quiet then, and the light falling through its vaulted roof is at its best. Walk the ramparts next to look down on the fishing harbour and the ocean from the bastions. Late in the morning, take the car north to Azemmour, a small whitewashed medina above the mouth of the Oum Er-Rbia river, its walls covered in murals by local artists.
In the afternoon, head back to Sidi Bouzid beach for a walk on the sand and a sunset over the Atlantic. With unlimited mileage, you can also save another day for the lagoon at Oualidia.
