Casablanca's big music event

Launched in 2006, Jazzablanca has become one of the most anticipated summer festivals in Casablanca. It blends jazz, soul, African music and pop in a festive, cosmopolitan atmosphere. The 2026 edition, the 19th, ran from 2 to 11 July, with ticketed stages and several free concerts in the Arab League Park. Dates and programmes for future editions are published on the official website, jazzablanca.com.

Casablanca, a city made for driving

Casablanca is a large, sprawling metropolis. Between the centre, the Ain Diab corniche, the Maarif district and the residential areas, distances are significant, and a car lets you go from concert to dinner to a night out without relying on taxis. It is also where our fleet is based: most models are collected at the Casablanca agency (Maarif) or at Mohammed V airport, and some, such as the BMW 5 Series M Sport or the Land Rover Range Rover Sport Autobiography, can be picked up in Casablanca 24/7.

Which car for a festival night

To arrive in style, the BMW 5 Series M Sport (1500 MAD/day) is a large black saloon, comfortable and understated. The Mercedes CLA 220 (1000 MAD/day) is ideal for a couple. For a group of friends, the Maserati Grecale (1800 MAD/day) or the Land Rover Range Rover Evoque R-Dynamic (1200 MAD/day) offer five seats. And if you want to treat yourself, the Land Rover Range Rover Sport Autobiography is available from 2500 MAD/day for rentals of 10 days or more. All cars are automatic, with unlimited mileage, and the minimum rental is 3 days.

Extending your stay

The festival lasts several days, a good opportunity to discover the city and its surroundings. The Hassan II Mosque, on the ocean's edge, can be visited during the day. Rabat is about 90 km away by motorway, and El Jadida with the Portuguese city of Mazagan about 100 km to the south. For longer stays, the sliding rates on some models make renting more attractive: for example, the Porsche Macan goes from 2000 MAD/day to 1800 MAD/day from 7 days.

Our tips

In July, traffic can be heavy in the early evening, especially around the corniche. Leave a little early, use a guarded car park near the venues, and check the official programme for stages and times. Tickets for the paid stages are sold only by the festival through its official channels: we rent cars, we do not sell tickets. Finally, if you stay outside the centre, a car saves you from looking for a taxi after the concerts, which often end very late.
