Marhaba, a welcome for Moroccans abroad

Every summer, millions of Moroccans living abroad travel home to see their families, their hometowns and the places they grew up in. To support them, the Mohammed V Foundation for Solidarity runs Operation Marhaba, under the High Instructions of His Majesty King Mohammed VI. The idea is simple: to give returning Moroccans a dignified welcome and assistance throughout the journey, both on the way in and on the way back.

The operation relies on a network of reception areas at ports, international airports, rest areas and border posts across the Kingdom, as well as in several European ports widely used by the diaspora. Social, medical and logistical assistance is available there, a reassuring presence for families travelling with children or elderly parents.

Fly in and collect your car on arrival

Many families now choose to fly rather than make the long drive from Europe. That leaves the question of getting around once in Morocco: family visits, trips between town and beach, weekend excursions. A rental car means you no longer depend on taxis or on relatives.

Several cars in our fleet can be collected at the Casablanca agency (Maarif) or at the airports of Casablanca Mohammed V, Rabat, Marrakech, Agadir, Fès, Tangier, Nador and Oujda. You land, you drive. Cars are returned during the agency's opening hours.

Lower daily rates for longer stays

A summer visit often lasts several weeks, and this is where our tiered rates make a real difference:

  • Land Rover Range Rover Sport (2025, diesel): 3000 MAD/day base rate, 2300 MAD/day from 7 days, 2000 MAD/day from 15 days.
  • Maserati Levante (2026, petrol): 2300 MAD/day base rate, 2000 MAD/day from 7 days, 1800 MAD/day from 15 days, 1500 MAD/day from 30 days.
  • Porsche Macan (2026, petrol): 2000 MAD/day base rate, 1800 MAD/day from 7 days, 1500 MAD/day from 15 days, 1400 MAD/day from 30 days.

For a smaller budget, the Mercedes CLA 220 is available from 1000 MAD/day and the Land Rover Range Rover Evoque from 1300 MAD/day. Every car has an automatic gearbox and unlimited mileage; the minimum rental is 3 days and the deposit for these models is 30000 MAD.

Five seats for the whole family

All our SUVs seat five and have room for a summer's worth of luggage. On the motorway or on the country roads leading to the family village, the automatic gearbox makes long drives more relaxing. Book early: summer is the busiest period of the year.
