Marrakech, the capital of palaces

Marrakech is home to some of Morocco's most famous hotels. La Mamounia, at the gates of the medina, has been a legend of hospitality for decades, with its gardens and its Art Deco and Moroccan interiors. The nearby Royal Mansour was designed as a miniature medina made of private riads. Around the city, from the Palmeraie to the foothills of the Atlas, other prestigious hotels complete the picture. To be clear from the start: we have no partnership with these establishments, and we offer neither hotel delivery nor valet service. What follows is simply a guide for those who want to combine an exceptional stay with the freedom of a fine car.

Why have your own car in Marrakech

In the medina, you walk. But Marrakech is also about its surroundings, and that is where a car changes everything:

  • The Ourika valley, at the foot of the High Atlas, for a cool day out.
  • The Atlas plateau and villages, along panoramic roads.
  • Essaouira, on the Atlantic, about 190 km away.
  • Casablanca, about 240 km by motorway, to extend the trip.

Leaving when you like, stopping where you like, returning for dinner: that is the simplest luxury.

Which car for a stay in Marrakech

For Atlas roads as well as for arriving at a palace entrance, a luxury SUV is a natural choice. The 2025 Land Rover Range Rover Sport rents from 2000 MAD/day depending on duration (3000 MAD/day base rate). The 2026 Porsche Macan is available from 1400 MAD/day, the 2026 Maserati Levante from 1500 MAD/day and the 2025 Audi Q8 at 2100 MAD/day. For a couple, the 2025 Mercedes CLA 220 is 1000 MAD/day. All are automatic with unlimited mileage.

Pick-up at Marrakech airport

These models can be collected at Marrakech airport, or at our Casablanca agency (Maarif) and at the airports of Casablanca Mohammed V, Rabat, Agadir, Fes, Tangier, Nador and Oujda. Return takes place during agency opening hours. The minimum rental is 3 days and a deposit is required (30,000 MAD for these models). A driver can be offered on request, subject to availability.
