Nador, gateway to the eastern Mediterranean coast

In north-eastern Morocco, Nador grew up on the shores of the Marchica lagoon, one of the largest lagoons on the country's Mediterranean coast. A long sand bar separates this calm body of water from the sea, and the town opens onto a promenade where people stroll in the evening. Nador is also very popular in summer with Moroccan families living in Europe: having your car from arrival makes getting around much easier at that time.

Further along the eastern coast

Tips

In summer, book ahead: demand around Nador is high. Allow extra time for journeys at peak periods and keep water in the car on hot days.
