Fez, the oldest of the imperial cities
Founded more than twelve centuries ago, Fez is home to Fez el-Bali, one of the largest pedestrian medinas in the world, listed as a UNESCO World Heritage site. The medina is explored on foot, but reaching its monumental gates (Bab Bou Jeloud, Bab Rcif) and the panoramic hills is easier by car.
Less than an hour's drive away, the Roman ruins of Volubilis and the ramparts of Meknes make an ideal day trip. A car with or without a chauffeur is available on quote via WhatsApp.
